The Jacob Center is a private non-profit youth and family service agency founded in 1988 by three social workers. Jacob, a family name, is historically associated with healing and also refers to an ancient surveying instrument, (A Jacob staff) whereby people could get their bearings.

Our therapy staff specialize in multiple therapeutic approaches, including, but not limited to: Play Therapy, Sand Tray and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing).
The National Youth Program Using Minibikes Program is an Experiential Therapy program for children and youth ages 10-16 that teaches how to safely ride minibikes.
Provides home-based support staff to Larimer DHS Specialized Foster Parents, providing consistent, long-term, and intensive support services.
Provides comprehensive clinical assessments and recommendations for youth and families identified by Larimer DHS.
Highly trained staff provide trauma informed skill integration, education and coordination of trauma informed services.
Highly trained staff supervise visits between parents or family and children in out-of-home care. Focus on development of parenting skills and consistent/frequent visitation in an effort to reduce length of foster care placement.
