The Jacob Center
provides
foster care placement. The Center was founded in 1988 by three Social Workers. Jacob a family name is historically associated with healing and also refers to an ancient surveying instrument ( a Jacob Staff ) whereby people could get their bearings.

Professionals and community residents comprise the Board of Directors for Jacob Family Services, a non-profit, State, licensed child placement Agency.
